Where are you coming from?

Whether from acute injury, post-surgical recovery, or repetitive strain, chronic tension, or pain often limits your movement. If you’ve endured persistent discomfort, chronic pain or stiffness for weeks or years, these physical obstacles can significantly impact your quality of life.

Neuromuscular & Manual Trigger Point Therapy

NMT & Manual Trigger Point Therapy are specific, palpatory techniques that identifies and treats trigger points. Trigger points are hyperirritable nodules of contractile, musculoskeletal tissue found throughout our bodies; from our head to our feet.

Manual pressure upon these points may elicit a sensation locally or beyond the area of palpation - referred pain. It may recreate the pain you came in for or a pain you have not felt in years. Under sustained, safe pressure the pain subsides.  It is not about seeing how much pressure you can sustain; rather, meeting the discomfort and collaboratively paying attention to your body’s signals. I am simply a guide, not the expert on your body. The combination of your history and your knowing of your body, along with my knowledge of anatomy and trigger points, we connect dots and step closer to understanding where from  your pain is coming and alleviating it.

Where do you want to go?

Alleviating pain, enhancing range of motion, reaching fitness milestones, preserving muscle flexibility post-rehab, and deepening body awareness.
